Fundraising

For the first time I've launched a Kickstarter account to raise money for my film. So far people have been very generous and supportive of the project, but the majority of the money still needs to be raised so I am doing my best to promote it so we have the resources to make a wonderful movie. Poster

Until I have a chance to have a photo session with actors I came up with a quick and dirty poster to help promote our film. The image is a ghostly tunnel with the film's title and a tag line, "What you see depends on what you're looking for". This is a quote by John Lubbock who was a scientist in the early 20th Century. I thought it was appropriate because the story is about a man who goes blind and has to rely on faith to get him through his grief, but our character, Jackson, is an atheist and doesn't believe in the haunting images of the dead. Will he be able to push through his doubts and find peace in faith?

Three weeks and counting...

We are moving ever closer to filming. Things are falling into place, but pre-production is always a tentative time; with such a short amount of time and pressure mounting till the camera rolls it can be easy to let things slip. But if you stay organized and ahead of the game then you can make a complicated job appear simple. Stay confident and keep cool.

Pre-Production Begins!

Pre-production for "Second Sight" has started and is going strong. Casting of the main roles has been completed and we are launching a new website! This supernatural mystery will be produced by Traditional Rebellion, founded by Kevin M. Kirkpatrick and Chelsea Garland Mead. Look for updates about the film and check out Traditional Rebellion's blog for information on our other project, a psychological thriller called "Wake". We're excited for things to come so stay tuned!
